First garden harvest

Nonno couldn’t believe that we were already harvesting lettuce out of the garden earlier this week – so we had to put some pictures up. The first picture also shows the boys mulching the beans, which is great – except the mulch consisted of onions ripped up from the other side of the garden!

Planting some fruit trees

Turning six with some kicks

Bradley had a birthday party at karate for his friends. Everyone had a great time and got to break boards, which was extremely cool for them. And Bradley got to do a flying side kick board break in front of everyone and nailed it! And Mom got the cool picture of it below. Other than Master Nam yelling at one of the mom’s for wearing shoes on his mat, it couldn’t have been better.

Our boys love Clown Bread

The boys love this one brand of bread because it has a picture of a clown on it – so they fittingly call it Clown Bread and eat it like it was a snack. Here’s Deric showing his affection.

Mommy had the boys working hard painting one day and then they needed a snack and nice break afterwards. I think they went through four different outfits.

We went to Bradley’s school egg hunt and had a blast – Deric ended up winning a HUGE green frog by finding a special egg.

We did our usual and stayed home on Easter Sunday – it started out early with the opening of the Easter baskets.

And then outside to find the eggs that got hidden overnight.

And then off to the movies – saw The Lorax this year.

And finally Easter dinner – complete with a bunny cake!
