First garden harvest

Nonno couldn’t believe that we were already harvesting lettuce out of the garden earlier this week – so we had to put some pictures up.  The first picture also shows the boys mulching the beans, which is great – except the mulch consisted of onions ripped up from the other side of the garden!

Turning six with some kicks

Bradley had a birthday party at karate for his friends.  Everyone had a great time and got to break boards, which was extremely cool for them.  And Bradley got to do a flying side kick board break in front of everyone and nailed it!  And Mom got the cool picture of it below.  Other than Master Nam yelling at one of the mom’s for wearing shoes on his mat, it couldn’t have been better.

Happy Birthday Bradley

Here are some (ok a lot) of shots from Bradley’s party with just us and then with some other family members.

Visit from Braden

Mary Beth and Braden stopped over for a visit and all the boys seemed to have a grand old time.

Our little boy

Pictures like this are a bit bitter-sweet, it’s hard not to think of Bradley as still our little baby until you see pictures like this and realize that he’s growing up so fast.  I wish we could stop it – or at least slow it down.

Stunning photography

Of course we always think our boys take awesome pictures, but there is something professional looking about these two shots.

Work day

Mommy had the boys working hard painting one day and then they needed a snack and nice break afterwards.  I think they went through four different outfits.

Bradley the Engineer

Daddy likes to do mad scientist stuff at night after the boys go to bed and Bradley always wants to know what’s going on, so we let him stay up late on a Friday and help out.  It’s not terribly important what we’re doing, but it’s a memory Daddy wanted to archive – along with the detailed records you were keeping.

Brown Belts!!

We’re so proud of Mommy and Bradley officially becoming an ‘upper belt’.  They just passed their brown belt tests.

Catching butterflies

Daddy caught Mommy and the boys running around the yard trying to catch butterflies.

Santa in April

Deric was pretending that he was Santa one day and taking early orders for Christmas.
