Who says it’s bad luck?

You didn’t think we would just show you making the pasta did you??

We began the process of letting Bradley in on a few secrets from the Old Country. And yes, they had food processors in the Old Country.

Need to put some flour down so the pasta doesn’t stick to the table.

Need to knead the dough just a bit – little heavy on the flour you may notice.

Perfect, ready for rolling.

Second pass – Bradley liked to change rolling direction about 1/2 way through the pass, so we had a bunch of very small strands.

He had to smell each and every pass, not sure where that came from.

Actually cutting the strands here.

Success!

Checking out the bounty of your labor.

And just where was Baby Deric during all this excitement?

I know we have multiple posts with essentially this same name, but here’s another one and I’m sure there will be many more.

Bradley is totally into robots so when Roboworld came to town, we made plans to check it out. It is so tough to get many pictures with both kids, but we got a good one here of Mommy teaching Bradley about the great C-3PO.

Here’s a long post from our visit to NJ where we stayed with Mommy’s Uncle Mike for a party at his camp for Bridget and Will’s graduation and Katie’s entrance into high school. Thanks so much for the hospitality, we felt perfectly at home and had a great time as usual. One of the best compliments we could ever get was said many times over the weekend – “you two certainly make beautiful kids.”
Our arrival – Uncle Mike’s driveway is bigger than our entire yard!

Before the party, Bradley and Katie put the finishing touches on Aunt Sharon’s cool video of their kids’ lives.

Mike spent some quality time reading to Bradley, all of Uncle Mike’s kids are so great with him.

Aunt Sue, Uncle John and Deric.

Aunt Marlyn with a sleepy Deric.

A semi-group photo.

Katie and Bradley eating cake and ice cream.

Bradley is getting a little tired here.

Bradley chillin on the beach with Mommy.

Uncle Mike got Deric to smile a lot – I guess after five kids he knows a few tricks.

Bradley had to take Mike to school on their Wii soccer game – why isn’t Bradley’s controller plugged in????

Bridget and Will joined the party to cheer Bradley on – he didn’t even have to watch the screen.

This is a first for us here – a post with no kids in it!! Mommy & Daddy played hooky one day while you were both in daycare and we went fishing on Daddy’s boat. Daddy caught a few nice bass and Mommy decided to just get some sun and read and relax.
